6.11.2004 Ein Leserbrief auf der Website der RENMIN RIBAO wendet sich dagegen, dass auf gemeinsame Anordnung der Partei-Propagandabteilung, der Erziehungs- und Kulturbehörden, des Stadtkomitees der Kommunistischen Jugendliga und der "Arbeitskommission Sorge fuer die nächste Generation 深圳市关心下一代工作委员会 " der Film "Zeitdifferenz 7 Stunden 时差七小时" zum Pflichtprogramm für alle Schüler Shenzhens bestimmt worden sei. Der Film handele von den Erfahrungen der sechzehnjährigen Shenzhenerin Niuniu an einer Schule in England. Die Praxis, Schüler in diesem Alter ins Ausland zu schicken, die mit diesem Film propagiert werde, sei für China ungeeignet und für fast alle Familien auch unerschwinglich. So etwas zu tun sei eigentlich Privatsache, hinter der Hauptperson "Niuniu" verberge sich in Wirklichkeit jedoch die Tochter einer prominenten Shenzhener Führungsperson; bei ihm hätten sich die Behörden mit der Empfehlung des Films einschmeicheln ("den Pferdehintern taetscheln 拍马屁 ") wollen. Man solle aber lieber fragen, woher dieser Beamte die Riesensummen nehme, die für ein solches Auslandsstudium notwendig seien, und den Disziplinarregeln der Partei Geltung verschaffen. Quelle
